Gojo Fasika

Mmm still can't get over the wonderful dinner I  had with my sweetheart at Gojo Fasika last night.
I love Ethiopian food. I have always prefered eating with my hands, I really like to feel the food and the whole concept of being in touch with what it is you are eating speaks to me.
Another thing i like with Ethiopian food is that you all eat from the same plate. It's always good to practice sharing right? We remembered to take a picture a little too late, most of this lovely food was already happily digesting in our stomachs :)

Now I have to sit still and try not to rub my eyes while everybody else ( the whole crew) eat falafel... Aughhh I'm so bad at wearing make up :D

Day thirteen

Time to go back to the city and leave utopia. When we were driving back from the cabin the beautiful full moon was shining its magical light on us. I got a feeling it was saying that the circle is complete now. I have grown so much during these 2 weeks, this is just what I needed. I have learned to allow the magic that is life, and let go of control and just go with the flow. It doesn't matter how long something takes, it's the ride that matters. Now I'm going to create another adventure for myself, maybe a 30 day transformation with raw food?

Day Nine

Today has been an interesting day. I got a golden opportunity to overstand and learn how to love myself unconditionally and treat myself and what I do with the deepest respect. I got to practice integrity today, I got to clarify that my time is precious and that I no longer throw it away on things and people that are not in alignment with my life path.
I also learned that it is good to ask for help. I noticed that we could use an extra hand with some productions and asked Sling Fingers If he could help. And as soon as I uttered the words to him a stone fell of my chest. I have nothing to prove to no one.....I just want to have fun :)

Day Seven

Today was all about relaxing some sauna, a soothing moment at the Shakti mat and some sweet hours on the porch basking in the sun. My relaxed mind suddenly got an urge to find someone to market my music in Japan. I really love that country. How about Lalaland in Japanese? Wouldn't that be nice :)

Day Six

Today has been a productive day. Sling Fingers and Marco have laid down some harmonies on Let's start over :) I think we will finish this track tomorrow. I have had problems picking a track for the first single. I think I will send a couple songs to some friends and ask their opinion. But right now I have a crush on "Let's start over" This song means a lot to me. It helps me to focus on starting over every day, and seeing people with new eyes, including myself. Cause I am growing every day and no one ever stays the same.

Day Five

I have been singing my heart out today :) Laying down vocals on " Let's Start Over". I noticed how much fun it is to sing in front of a fireplace. The whole atmosphere here just makes everything so easy.
We are almost finished with this track and it feels so good. I hope to share it with you soon :)

Day Three

Today was all about healing. I  have found a new connection within, allowing love to flow freely. And I got some help from the beautiful sun :) Here are some picture of this beautiful place.

Day One

First day in the cabin. I feel so relaxed and at peace. It is so quiet here and the air is so fresh. I had a beautiful walk with Asha and then some lovely raw food.
We are making so much progress with the latest track "let's start over". Marco is currently recording a groovy yet psychedelic "a la Jacob Pastorius" base.
Mmmm I think I deserve to hit the sauna soon :)

I'm going to lock myself in the studio for 2 weeks to finish the last touches on this album:) I'm so excited!!!
